What is SafeNSound? 

SafeNSound is an incredible product with many different uses. They are available in Strapz™, Clipz™, Single Clipz™, and Barretz™. They are adjustable retention products used to keep BTE hearing aids, glasses, and BTE cochlear implant processors "SafeNSound" and securely in place. 

What is The Ear Connection?

Do I want Strapz, Clipz, Single Clipz or Barretz? 

SafeNSound Strapz™ come in four sizes, Infant (6"), Toddler (7 1/2"), Child (9"), and Youth (11"). This product comes with several adjustment beads and is adjustable up to 2" larger without attaching to the wearer's clothing. The SafeNSound Clipz™ come with one adjustment bead, attaches to wearer's clothing and is one size fits all. This product is great for those who wear only one BTE hearing aid or BTE Cochlear Implant Processors. It does not require adjustment beads and may be purchased in size Infant for little heads.  The Single Clipz™ are for those who wear only one BTE hearing aid or Cochlear Implant processors.  They do not come with adjustment beads because they are not adjustable, but can be ordered with a decorative bead if you choose (will not affect functionality).  SafeNSound Barretz™ come one to a package and are for those who prefer barretz over other producst. This product is also perfect for those with aural atresia/microtia.

What is You Name It™? 

You Name It™ is a SafeNSound Strapz™ or Clipz™ that you can special order with your name or phrase on it. An example is a Purple Strap with rainbow letters that spell "Hillary" or a black strap with the phrase "Sk8rz Rule".  You can also order Sportz Strapz™ or Sportz Clipz™ with your team's name, "Go Spartans"!  Just order your regular strap size and specify your message.  You can now order You Name it™ in Clipz and Single Clipz, the name or phrase will be vertical instead of horizontal. The Ear Connection reserves the right to refuse to make any strap or clip with a name or msg. that we feel is inappropriate or offensive. 

What sizes are available? 

The Strap is available in 4 sizes: Infant-6", Toddler-7 1/2", Child-9", and Youth, 11". The size represents the smalles size and adjusts up to an additional 2". The Clip is one size fits all, so there is no need to measure for this item. However, it is available with a smaller adjustment bead for little heads, and the length will be 2" shorter than the regular size.  just specify size infant. 

How do I know what size I need? 

Strap Measurements:

For proper fit for eyeglasses/sunglasses and small hearing aids, measure from just behind the ear, loosly around the base of the skull, back up to the same spot behind the other ear. This is the size to order. Do not add to this measurement, this will be the smallest size and your strap will adjust up to 2" more.

For large hearing aids and FM aids, measure from center of one aid to the center of the other while the wearer has the aids in. This allows for the "larger" device to be held more snugly to the head, however, all products can be worn in all cominations and measuring for the larger device can be done the same as for the small size.

If measurement is in between two sizes, we will make them to fit any size for no extra charge, however, special orders can only be returned if defective.

If you alternate between small and large hearing aids, order one for each!

The Clipz™ is one size fits all, so there is no need to measure for this item. However, it is available with a smaller adjustment bead for little heads, just specify size infant. 

How do I know how to order the adjustment bead size? 

The adjustment bead size is generally the same for all Strapz™ & Clipz™. If you order a SafeNSound Strapz™, it will have one large adjustment bead in the center, with several small round (infant size) adjustment beads on either side. If you prefer all small beads, just specify that in the "special instructions" section on the order form (small round only). Large Adjustment beads are approximately 1" high and 1/2" wide (Teddy Bears, Dogs, Airplanes, smiley faces); small adjustment beads are approximately 6-10mm (flowers, hearts, stars, ladybugs, VW Bug type cars). 

What Colors are available? 

The SafeNSound™ Products come in a variety of colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Gray, Navy, Pine, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow. The Adjustment beads are available in the same colors with the addition of Tan, Teal and many neon colors.  Small round beads are also available in Glow in the Dark colors, clear, aqua, orange, pink, purple and yellow.  Also, small round, stars, hearts and butterflies are available in sparkle colors blue, green, pink, red, silver and gold. 

Now available in Sportz Clipz™ and Sportz Strapz™: Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Billiards and Volleyball.  

Will my product be all the same color? 

When you order you will be given the choice of colors for your adjustment beads. You can order them with different colors, or all the same, beads and strap color, whatever you choose. Because not all adjustment beads are available in all colors, you will be given the opportunity to make 2nd (alternate) choices for adjustment bead types and colors. 

What if I'm not happy with my purchase? 

We're so sure that you'll love the original SafeNSound™ products, we guarantee it! If you're not satisfied, return it within 30 days for a refund of your full purchase price, less shipping charges. Our full product warranty is below. 

What kind of warranty do I get with my purchase? 

All SafeNSound™ products are made from quality materials and are designed in the USA. All items are warranted against manufacturer defect for one full year from date of invoice. If your product breaks during that time, please contact us for a replacement item. We hope you are pleased with your order and look forward to serving you now and in the future!
